Israeli Occupation Targets Resistance Sites in the Gaza Strip
Israeli occupation warplanes launch raids on a resistance site, near the entrance of al-Maghazi, and the Resistance responds by launching anti-aircraft missiles.
The Israeli occupation forces overnight Saturday-Sunday carried out another round of retaliatory airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, causing partial or total damage to private property.
Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a Palestinian resistance site near the entrance of al-Maghazi, in the center of the Gaza Strip, while the resistance fired ground-based anti-aircraft missiles at the occupation warplanes.
The occupation warplanes also raided a site on the coastal road west of Rafah with several raids.
Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip fired a rocket at southern “Israel” late Saturday night, the Israel occupation Forces reported, making it the second attack from Gaza in less than 24 hours.
The rocket was intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system, triggering sirens in the settlement of “Sderot” and surrounding areas.
Meanwhile, in the West Bank on Saturday evening, Israeli occupation forces violently oppressed Palestinians who protested in solidarity with the four Palestinian escapees.
In Nablus, youths set tires alight during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces. The Palestinian Red Crescent said 60 protesters were injured by tear gas near Nablus.
On Saturday, the radio station of the Israeli occupation army announced the capture of an additional two of the six detainees who broke out of Gilboa Prison: Zakaria al-Zubeidi and Mohammed al-Arida.
