Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation targeted the Gaza Strip with airstrikes.

An Israeli aircraft targeted a resistance site in the southern Gaza Strip. The occupation also targeted the Qadisiyah site, west of Khan Yunis, and east of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Palestinian resistance launched ground-based counter-air defenses at the occupation aircraft in the Gaza Strip, where they nullified some of the strikes east of Gaza.

The Israeli occupation’s attacks on the Gaza Strip continue, while the Israeli Walla website reported on engineering work carried out by bulldozers, which began on Monday morning to modify the border fence with the Strip.

According to Walla, “the Israeli army will carry out extensive engineering work to prevent rioters from approaching the fence.” after the shooting of the Israeli soldier through the Gaza separation fence “by a Hamas activist” on Saturday.

The occupation forces had previously wounded 17 Palestinians during their participation in the “Sword of Jerusalem” festival, commemorating the 52nd anniversary of the burning of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

On Saturday, the occupation launched raids on separate areas in the Gaza Strip. Occupation warplanes targeted with concussion missiles the "Arin" site of the resistance in Nuseirat, and the “Badr” site in western Gaza.

After these developments, Palestinian factions in the east of Gaza confirmed the continuation of their popular activities until the Israeli occupation stops its violations against Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem) and the Palestinian people, and breaks the siege of the Gaza Strip.
