The Israeli occupation launched airstrikes at al-Kiswah, south of Damascus in Syria, according to reports by Syria TV broadcaster.
According to the broadcaster, initial data indicates that the airstrikes targeted positions belonging to the 75th Brigade of the former Syrian army.
Since the collapse of Syria's former regime, the Israeli occupation has intensified and escalated its attacks on the Arab nation, targeting its military bases and residential neighborhoods, occupying its southern lands, and invading its towns regularly.
Israeli media outlets reported that Israeli Security Minister Israel Katz participated in a Passover celebration this morning with employees of the Ministry of Security. In his address to the ministry staff, Katz stated, "Israel will not allow Syria to threaten its settlements and security interests.
IOF forces will continue to operate on Mount Hermon, the security zone, and the buffer zone to defend the settlements in the Golan Heights and the occupied al-Jalil from any potential threats. This includes actions such as yesterday's strike against terrorists threatening our forces."
