Al-Quds Brigades fighters engaged Israeli occupation forces in fierce confrontations on Monday, in the Yabna refugee camp, in the southernmost city of the Gaza Strip, Rafah.

The Brigades announced that its fighters engaged occupation forces, utilizing assault rifles and anti-tank shells in the center of the Yabna camp.

It also said that its fighters fired a thermobaric rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) at a building that Israeli occupation forces had taken positions in. The shell killed and injured members of the targeted Israeli forces in Yabna.

Al-Quds Brigades' mortar units also shelled occupation forces in Yabna, with 60 mm shells, killing and injuring occupation soldiers invading the camp. Israeli rescue helicopters were seen landing in the area to evacuate the Israeli casualties.

The Brigades also shelled occupation forces along the Netzarim Axis, a strategic route occupied by Israeli forces that splits the northern Gaza Strip from the rest of the besieged territory.
