Israeli settler mistakenly killed by IOF during West Bank rampage
During the settler assault, Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition as Palestinians resisted the incursions.
One Israeli settler was mistakenly killed and another was injured by the Israeli forces' gunfire during the settlers' attack on the town of al-Funduq, east of Qalqilya, in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian homes, vehicles, and shops on Monday evening during an attack on al-Funduq and the town of Jinsafut, east of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
As a result of the settlers' attacks, many residents suffered injuries and suffocation.
During the assault, Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition as residents resisted the incursions.
Additionally, occupation forces raided the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, detaining dozens of people.
Settler attacks on Palestinian vehicles south of al-Khalil
In a related development, Israeli settlers stormed a house in Masafer Yatta and attacked residents' vehicles near Dura, south of al-Khalil in the West Bank.
Local sources reported that settlers broke into the home of Osama Hamamdeh in the Khirbet Ma’in area of Masafer Yatta and conducted a provocative tour in its vicinity.
Similarly, dozens of settlers threw stones at vehicles at the eastern entrance of Dura and near the al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of al-Khalil, causing damage to several vehicles.
The settlers also chanted racist slogans inciting violence and the expulsion of Palestinians.
Settlers rampage through Palestinian towns in fury over Gaza deal
Israeli settlers, accompanied by Israeli occupation forces, stormed multiple Palestinian towns in the occupied West Bank on Sunday evening, expressing outrage over a Gaza ceasefire deal widely perceived as a defeat for the Israeli entity.
The settlers targeted Palestinian vehicles and blocked key roads in areas including Turmus Ayya, ‘Atara, Ein Siniya, Ein Ayoub, Qalqilya, and Jaba’.
In Sinjil, WAFA news agency reported that two Palestinian homes and four vehicles were set on fire. Social media footage captured settlers throwing stones and Molotov cocktails during their attacks.
The assaults occurred just hours before "Israel" released the first group of Palestinian detainees—69 women and 21 children—in exchange for three Israeli captives as part of a truce agreement between the Palestinian Resistance Hamas and "Israel".
Far-right Israelis denounced the ceasefire, demanding the continuation of the military offensive against Gaza.
Ahead of the agreement, Israeli Security Minister Israel Katz ordered the release of all 16 settlers under administrative detention for their involvement in attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
Katz justified the decision, saying it was intended “to convey a clear message of strengthening and encouraging the settlements.”
