Israeli settlers attack Palestinians, a child included, in Al-Khalil

Flocks of Israeli settlers led by Knesset member Itamar Ben-Gvir attack and injure Palestinians in Al-Khalil under the heavy protection of heavily Israeli occupation forces.

Palestinians come under heavy attacks in Al-Khalil.

Flocks of Israeli settlers led by extremist Knesset member Itamar Ben-Gvir and protected by occupation forces attacked Palestinians in the center of Al-Khalil, injuring a number of them, including a baby girl.

Settlers attacked shops and houses in Tel Rumeida, Jaber, Al-Salaymeh, Al-Shuhada Street, and Al-Shallala Al-Awsat neighborhoods under the heavy protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Islamic Jihad Spokesperson Tariq Ezz el-Din stressed that "the Palestinian security services in the city of Al-Khalil are required to assume their role in protecting our people and our holy sites and not to stand neutral," stressing that "neutrality in these situations will open the way for more Zionist criminality against our people."

The Islamic Jihad Spokesperson also stated, "We call on our people's freedom fighters of all factions to actively curb the occupation and the herds of settlers and strike them with full force for their heinous crimes against our people in Al-Khalil."

"We appeal to all our people in the West Bank, especially in Khalil Al-Rahman, to step up and confront the thousands of herds of settlers who attack our people in Tel Rumeida," he added.

The Spokesperson also held the Israeli occupation and its leaders fully responsible for the attacks and desecration of Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in Al-Khalil and for implementing the occupation's agendas under the pretext of carrying out their religious rituals, which the Palestinian people will not allow.

"The ongoing terrorism and attacks carried out by the herds of settlers against Palestinian homes in the city of Al-Khalil is a crime that must not be tolerated, as these aggressions are planned, supported, and protected by the occupation forces," he said.

The Israeli occupation forces deliberately adopt a policy of demolishing homes, whether through their machinery or by forcing their owners to demolish them themselves, in an attempt to subjugate and pressure Palestinians.
