An Israeli soldier, who partook in the genocide in Gaza, becomes the target of tourists while vacationing in Thailand.
An Israeli soldier who reportedly served in the occupation forces during the genocide in Gaza says he was attacked in Thailand.
Ilay, a 22-year-old Israeli occupation soldier was vacationing in Thailand when a group of German tourists reportedly physically attacked him after learning where he was from.
"One of them asked, 'Where are you from? Israel?' I turned around, and he punched me in the face," the soldier said, adding that they continued to push him around and kick him all over.
"I felt like they were specifically looking for Israelis. It didn’t seem like they just randomly passed through an alley and got into an argument; they were looking for me and came to ask where I was from," he further stated.
Following the incident, Tel Aviv advised Israelis in Thailand and Southeast Asia to stay cautious in public areas, including restaurants and hotels.
The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 44,429 martyrs, with 105,250 injured since October 7, 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry announced on Sunday.
In its daily report on the 422nd day of the genocide, the Ministry noted that Israeli occupation forces committed six massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip in 24 hours, killing 47 people and injuring 188 others who were transported to hospitals.
Israeli soldiers have often showcased pride and filmed and posted the crimes they committed in the Gaza Strip on social media, garnering significant backlash.
