The Israeli occupation forces continued their heavy bombardment of Gaza City at dawn Friday, causing more civilian casualties.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent confirmed that four Palestinians were killed, including two children, and several others were wounded when Israeli aircraft struck a residential building near al-Saraya Square in the heart of Gaza City.
In a separate incident, Israeli strikes targeted tents sheltering forcibly displaced people in the vicinity of al-Shifa Hospital, resulting in at least three fatalities and multiple injuries.
Our correspondent added that artillery shelling targeted the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City, while Israeli quadcopter drones opened fire on civilians attempting to flee the area.
Meanwhile, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, Israeli invading units detonated explosive devices to demolish residential blocks in Beit Hanoun, leaving dozens of Palestinian families without shelter.
