'Israel's' continued aggression proof of defeat: Syrian MFA
According to the Foreign Ministry in Syria, "Israel's" persistence in its criminal aggression on Syria is only evidence that it has been defeated.
According to the Syrian Foreign Ministry of Affairs and Expatriates, "Israel's" persistence in its criminal aggression on Syria is only evidence that it has been defeated.
The statement outlined that mounting panic on the Israeli side is a result of Syria's effort in the face of Israeli attempts to stop its support of the Palestinian people in their quest for land liberation.
According to the statement, for the third time in a week, “the usurping Zionist entity" launched airstrikes and missiles from the occupied Golan toward Damascus and Aleppo international airports, leading to the martyrdom of two civilians.
The Ministry also added that "Israel's" crimes against Gaza amount to war crimes and that its sponsors have once again demonstrated that "international law and its covenants for them are a tool that they exploit to achieve their colonial plans to target any country under false claims."
The Syrian Arab Republic, according to the Ministry, warns of the implications of continuing these attacks and activities that violate international humanitarian law, which would plunge the area into a larger spiral of conflict.
A Syrian military source reported that Israeli strikes on Sunday rendered the airports of Aleppo and Damascus out of service. This is the second targeting of the airports since the aggression on Gaza began.
Flights were redirected to Latakia airport, according to the Transport Ministry.
