Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Syria reported that both Damascus and Aleppo international airports were targeted by Israeli airstrikes early Sunday morning.

Our correspondent reported that four missiles targeted the Aleppo Airport, while local sources reported that air defenses intercepted some of the missiles fired.

He mentioned that the attack on Damascus airport killed one civilian worker, injured another, and resulted in material damage.

Sounds of bombing were also reportedly heard in the vicinity of the Damascus airport.

Last week, on October 15, Aleppo International Airport’s runway was targeted by an Israeli airstrike.

Our correspondent reported that 50 Palestinians were martyred on Saturday night as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

An Israeli aircraft bombed a house west of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, killing 12 individuals from a single family, including three children.

The Israeli warplanes also renewed their shelling of al-Awdah and al-Nada towers in the northern and eastern parts of Beit Lahia, simultaneously targeting Abu Ureif Street in the center of the Gaza Strip with airstrikes and illuminating bombs.

Furthermore, Israeli occupation forces targeted the internal security headquarters and several civilian homes in the al-Jneineh neighborhood in Rafah city.
