Jordanian martyr Maher al-Jazi a 'hero of Al-Aqsa Flood': Abu Obeida
The al-Qassam spokesperson says that the operation reflects the "conscience of the Ummah and the [outcomes] of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation".
The spokesperson of al-Qassam Abu Obeida praised on Sunday the "heroic and exceptional" operation carried out by Jordanian martyr, Maher Al-Jazi at the Karameh border crossing, describing him as "one of the heroes of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation."
Earlier today, Al-Jazi, who works as a truck driver, shot and killed three Israelis at the Allenby Bridge crossing, known on the Palestinian side as the Karameh Border Crossing, between Jordan and the occupied West Bank. Israeli media reported that the killed Israelis were security personnel in the crossing's authority.

Al-Jazi carried out his operation after parking his truck at the crossing for routine inspection before continuing his way toward the West Bank.
"The Jordanian hero’s handgun, in defense of Al-Aqsa and the Palestinian people, proved more effective than large armies and vast military arsenals," Abu Ubaida continued, hinting at Arab countries that have betrayed Gaza, which has endured ongoing Israeli genocide for over 11 months.
The spokesperson further noted that the operation "reflects the conscience of the Ummah and the [outcomes] of the Al-Aqsa Flood, foreshadowing the nightmare awaiting the Zionist entity at the hands of the Ummah's heroes."

"In solidarity, the [Resistance fighters] in Gaza performed the Salat al-Ghaib (absentee prayer) for the martyr, the hero of the operation, [while] at their combat posts, ambush sites, and frontlines."
The absentee prayer, or "Salat al-Ghaib," is a funeral prayer performed for a deceased Muslim who has passed away in a location where no other Muslims are present to offer the traditional funeral prayer.
Natural response
Palestinian Resistance factions commended the operation, emphasizing that it comes as a natural response to the Israeli occupation's crimes against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
For its part, Hamas said the operation represents the broader Arab world's rejection of Israeli occupation and its aggressive ambitions in Palestine and Jordan, and called for solidarity with Palestinians and their Resistance, underlining that the operation was in defense of occupied al-Quds and al-Aqsa.
The Resistance group urged the global community to support Gaza and occupied al-Quds, and called upon all freedom-loving people worldwide to join in the defense of Palestinian dignity and national security.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) described the operation as "the truest expression of the sentiment of the Jordanian people, as well as the Arab and Islamic Ummah."
"This heroic operation, along with others like it, is the only response that the American administration, a partner of the criminal entity in its genocidal war against our people in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, understands," the movement said.
"We extend our deepest respect and admiration to the hero of the Karameh Crossing operation and pray for mercy on his pure soul," it concluded.
