For his part, Abbas Zaki, a member of Fatah's top Central Committee told Al Mayadeen that al-Fasfous' victory proved that Palestinians have a powerful will.
Zaki stressed that all forms of blackmailing were rejected, and mentioned that work is being done on all local, regional and international levels.
The liberated prisoner was on a hunger strike for 131 days in protest of his administrative detention.
