In part two of an exclusive interview with Al Mayadeen on key moments in Sayyed Safieddine's career, Fadlallah revealed several key moments.
He noted that Sayyed Safieddine remained awake for 48 consecutive hours after Sayyed Nasrallah’s martyrdom, trying to restore control and stability.
He further added that Sayyed Safieddine mobilized on-the-ground units and all sectors of the Resistance while maintaining full coordination with the martyred Sheikh Nabil Kaouk.
According to the Lebanese MP, "There was no leadership vacuum following the targeting of Sayyed Nasrallah."
Fadlallah also emphasized that the Lebanese Resistance fighters’ morale only grew stronger after Sayyed Nasrallah’s martyrdom, with fighters outright rejecting any withdrawal from the frontlines.
He revealed that Sayyed Safieddine's first public appearance as secretary-general was initially planned to take place at the funeral of martyr Sayyed Nasrallah.
Furthermore, he highlighted that Sayyed Safieddine was a "visionary" leader with strategic plans and initiatives who tirelessly and fully dedicated himself to his mission.
"Sayyed Nasrallah always felt reassured when Sayyed Safieddine was running any project," Fadlallah indicated, noting that the latter was responsible for managing approximately 75 Hezbollah-affiliated institutions.
Sayyed Safieddine "did not differentiate regionally or sectarian-wise in the services provided by Hezbollah," the Lebanese MP highlighted.
In the same context, Fadlallah revealed that Sayyed Safieddine "had foreseen Lebanon’s economic collapse and directed efforts to prevent it and combat corruption." He told Al Mayadeen that the martyr has spearheaded major projects in the Bekaa region to counteract the economic downturn.
Additionally, MP Fadlallah stated that during Operation Al Aqsa Flood, Sayyed Safieddine continued visiting South Lebanon until Sayyed Nasrallah personally instructed him to refrain from doing so.
On a personal level, Sayyed Safieddine has completed a seven-volume commentary on Nahj al-Balagha, which is set to be published soon, according to Fadlallah.

The Hezbollah MP also exclusively shared with Al Mayadeen a segment of Sayyed Safieddine's letter following Sayyed Nasrallah’s martyrdom, in which he, as Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, underscored the necessity of achieving victory in Gaza.
In the letter written by Sayyed Safieddine, which he began by extending salutations to the families of martyrs and the wounded, he mourned Sayyed Nasrallah, stating, "Our grief is profound, immense, and indescribable over the loss of our leader, our master, our inspiration, and our Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah."
Sayyed Nasrallah "led this blessed and victorious Resistance, which achieved unprecedented triumphs and monumental milestones that will remain eternal, thanks to his leadership, wisdom, courage, and above all, his faith, sincerity, and readiness to sacrifice everything he had for the cause he believed in and was committed to—alongside his people, his community, the families of martyrs and the wounded, and all those who have sacrificed in our path of Resistance," the letter read.
"We used to await his [Sayyed Nasrallah's] appearance in times like these, for his words would heal wounds, provide insight into unfolding events, offer clarity and guidance, and give assurances about our ability to overcome all difficulties," Sayyed Safieddine's letter continued.
"Indeed, our loss is immense and huge with the passing of this exceptional leader," Sayyed Safieddine acknowledged, adding, "Truly, he [Sayyed Nasrallah] was a rarity of his time."
"In any case, speaking about this leader requires a great deal of time," he concluded.
According to Fadlallah, only three pages from martyr Sayyed Safieddine's letter were found, with traces of the fallen rubble on them. The document also included the leader's view on the Israeli war on Gaza, which he cautioned was aimed at annihilating the Resistance in Palestine and later, every act of Resistance in Lebanon and the region.
It is worth mentioning that Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, martyr Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, was laid to rest on Monday in his hometown of Deir Qanoun al-Nahr, southern Lebanon.
