Lebanese army rejected 4 assistance offers from "Israel": Israeli media

Israeli media revealed that the Lebanese army has rejected assistance offers from "Israel," and pointed out that Israeli officials were surprised by the words of Benny Gantz about assisting the Lebanese army.
Israeli Channel 12 correspondent from Bahrain, Ofer Haddad, said that during the presence of the Israeli Minister of Security, Benny Gantz, in Bahrain today, he played a speech that was recorded at the National Security Research Conference, which discusses the situation in Lebanon and reveals that "Israel" made 4 different offers of assistance to Lebanon through UNIFIL in the past year, in exchange for putting the Lebanese army against Hezbollah.
Haddad added that according to what they have learned, the Lebanese army rejected these offers.
In turn, the political affairs commentator for Channel 12, Yaron Abraham, said that the events seem very strange, and noted that they are trying to understand what exactly the assistance is that Gantz made clear he offered to the Lebanese army, and that was called by Gantz as "specific assistance."
He continued by saying that according to what he understood, the political establishment is not aware of the offer revealed by the Minister of Security.
Abraham quoted political level sources as saying that parties that manage "Israel’s" foreign relations heard this for the first time from Channel 12 while adding that the sources said that if there was such a "specific proposal," it would be uncoordinated and odd in light of the relations between the Lebanese army and Hezbollah.
Abraham noted that it must be said that in recent months, such offers have been received by UNIFIL and the responsible Lebanese army, due to the ongoing "humanitarian situation, related to the distribution of fuel and water to civilians," noting that until this evening the matter has been kept secret. He concluded that it seems to him that the shock is due to the way in which the offer was revealed through gossip, rather than the content of the news itself.
He pointed out that, not only Israeli political spheres were angered by this news, but also complaints were heard from the French and the American sides regarding the "Minister of Security's gossip" about the event publically. Abraham explains that Gantz's office responded that "everyone who should have known about the matter has been informed."
It should be noted that Israeli media revealed earlier today that Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz had made a secret visit to Bahrain, via an Israeli military plane that crossed over Saudi Arabia.
