Lebanese Judiciary Sets Date for Hearing Geagea on Tayouneh Ambush
According to what Lebanese judiciary sources told Al Mayadeen, the military court notified LF leader Samir Geagea of the date of his hearing on the Tayouneh ambush case.
The Lebanese military court notified LF leader Samir Geagea of his date of hearing in the case of the Tayouneh ambush, judiciary sources told Al Mayadeen.
"Geagea's hearing will be on Wednesday in the Ministry of Defense - the Intelligence Directorate," the sources told Al Mayadeen.
The sources also asserted that the postponement of his hearing was not due to any political pressures but rather due to awaiting the completion of proceedings and closing the investigations into the Tayouneh case.
Lebanese media said the notification was plastered on Geagea's front door in Merab after he refused to receive it.
The Lebanese army reported earlier on Monday that the Intelligence Directorate had finished its probe into the violent ambush that took place in Tayouneh and referred those captured to the Military Public Prosecution.
