Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati stressed the need for all parties to cooperate in order to start Lebanon’s economic recovery.

Mikati's words came today after receiving an economic delegation at the Grand Serail.

The PM added that the first steps he intends to adopt are focused on halting the economic collapse, resolve the medicine and fuel crisis as well as end the massive electricity outages.

He vowed to address these issues, in addition to other problems, in cooperation with the concerned international bodies.

Mikati's meetings come after his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris last week on his first foreign visit, after his government won the confidence of the Lebanese Parliament.
