Maduro chastises ICJ's inaction on Israeli genocidal war on Gaza
The Venezuelan President reiterates his country's support to the Palestinian people, highlighting international inaction regarding Israeli crimes in Palestine.
The Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro, shed light on the inaction of the International Court of Justice regarding the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
"The ethics of the International Court of Justice, which stood aside in the face of the largest genocide ever that is being broadcast live and on social media, has been called into question," Maduro said.
Venezuela's President said that the unfolding events in Gaza have revealed the true face of international organizations, showing that they serve global imperialist powers. Expressing his deep concern, Maduro pointed to the killing of thousands of people and the deliberate destruction of hospitals in the Gaza Strip, which comes, according to him, at a historical moment when the International Court of Justice has done nothing to protect the right of the Palestinian people to life.
"Did not anyone see how they killed seven humanitarian workers from the West, and Netanyahu from Tel Aviv says we killed them, but that was not intentional?" the Venezuelan President exclaimed.
"Were the other killings intentional? Or did you not see in Palestine how the main hospital (Al-Shifa Medical Complex), which took decades to build, was destroyed, and hundreds of corpses appeared on every floor, does no one see? Or does no one feel pain for Palestine?"
Maduro stressed the need for the international community to condemn the acts of genocide committed by the Israeli occupation in Palestine. The President reiterated his country's demands for an end to the genocide committed by "Israel" against the Palestinian people underscoring the imperative for the ICJ's intervention to enforce this cessation.

International organizations pushed to anarchy by US-led West
Earlier on January 26, following a case filed by South Africa regarding the ongoing genocide it is committing against the Palestinian people, the ICJ passed multiple orders demanding that "Israel" prevent all acts of genocide against Palestinians, alongside several other legally binding orders.
Months have passed, and the Israeli government has failed to comply with the orders of the ICJ. However, neither the international community has taken any action to enforce the ruling of the ICJ or a recently passed United Nations Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire during the holy month of Ramadan.
In fact, hurdles imposed by the United States on the work of international organizations, the UNSC specifically, have left them incapable of making effective decisions, if not unwilling to stop the Israeli genocide on the Gaza Strip.
Since the rulings were passed in late January, "Israel" has only expanded its violations of international law and memoranda, going past the Gaza Strip to commit blatant and yet-to-be-condemned crimes against the Syrian Arab Republic, Lebanon, and Iran amid an anarchic UNSC.
