Maduro says 'Israel' launches 'war of extermination' in West Asia
President Nicolas Maduro highlights that the current struggle in West Asia is rooted in the colonialist ambitions of the US, UK, and Europe.
There is an ongoing "war of extermination" against the Arab people of Palestine, Syria, and Iran, which is being concealed by Western media, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro emphasized on Monday.
In his program Con Maduro +, President Nicolas Maduro highlighted that the current struggle is rooted in the colonialist ambitions of the USA, UK, and Europe, aimed at controlling a militarized state and extending their dominance over the entire region.
He stated, “Palestine is the human homeland. Just as we defend our land, Venezuela, our Bolivarian Fatherland, the most important battle that humanity has is for the human Fatherland, for the liberation of Palestine, of Jerusalem, the epicenter of the prophets, of the envoys of God. David, Solomon, the Palestinian man, Jesus Christ, must be the earth of peace, harmony, and dialogue of religions and civilizations, as it always was.”
In a historical context, the President remarked that Palestine was a legendary center of cultural, religious, Jewish, and Islamic coexistence until the colonial project of the US, the UK, and Europe took hold after World War II.
He continued by stating that the tragedy of the Palestinian people began 76 years ago, asserting that bombing Palestinians is an act of anti-Semitism. He emphasized that the situation has evolved into a significant humanitarian war rather than a religious one, noting that for 76 years, there has been violence against not only Muslims but also Christians and their churches.
"Today marks one year of genocide. I am surprised that there are media outlets, which title: 'One year of the war of Israel against Hamas'. Who’s title, 'a year of war against Hamas', is an accomplice to the genocide. They will not shut us up, whatever it is called in the world," the Venezulan President stressed.
“One has to talk about a year of the war of extermination, the most horrible war since the time of Hitler (…). It is a war of extermination against the people, of extermination against the peoples of the Middle East, it is a war against the Arab people of Lebanon,” he further added.
The Venezulan President further stated that the situation in Palestine has been a long-prepared war that has now escalated into an aggressive and exterminatory war, adding that this war poses a threat not only to the Arab people of Syria but also to the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and it risks becoming a brutal war, misrepresented by Western media.
It is worth noting that the Venezuelan people organized protests against the ongoing Israeli genocide against Palestine and Lebanon. On Monday, an anti-fascist and anti-Zionist cultural forum was held in Parque Nacional WarairaRepano in support of Palestine, with participation from social organizations, ALBA-TCP, and the diplomatic corps accredited to Venezuela.
Maduro: Israeli actions worse than Nazi crimes
Earlier this month, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro stated that the actions of "Israel" and its supporting Western powers are worse than the crimes of Nazi Germany and Hitler. He emphasized that these forces are now moving towards Lebanon after having already destroyed Libya and Iraq, asserting that what is happening is a war against Arabsfei and an effort to colonize the entire Middle East.
Maduro pointed out that the United Nations has condoned the killing of hundreds while the world remains silent, comparing the current situation to the impunity enjoyed by Mussolini and Hitler.
Addressing the threats against Iran, Iraq, and Yemen, as well as the ground operations in Lebanon, he underscored that "these actions represent a colonial project aimed at controlling the region's energy resources."
Maduro criticized "Israel" and its backers for testing weapons to instill fear globally while highlighting the support of the far-right in Venezuela for the massacres against the Arab people.
He concluded by asserting that "the victory of the Resistance would mark the decline of Western imperialism in history, affirming that these powers are defending their hegemony through violence."
He expressed confidence that humanity will respond, turning painful moments into battles and victories.
Earlier, Maduro had strongly condemned the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah at the hands of the Israeli occupation, denouncing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as "Hitlerish" and criticizing world leaders for their silence.
In a speech during a pro-Palestinian rally in La Guaira on Saturday, Maduro expressed Venezuela's solidarity with the people of Lebanon and Gaza, the victims of genocide and terrorist attacks perpetrated by the Israeli occupation.
