Massive pro-Palestinian protests near Israeli embassy in Amman
The protesters chanted slogans hailing the Palestinian Resistance while condemning the ongoing Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Jordanian capital, Amman, witnessed Monday evening a massive demonstration in solidarity with Gaza and in support of the Palestinian Resistance.
Jordanians continue their protests in Amman as well as in several provinces, villages, and refugee camps, for the 24th week since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Demonstrators gathered near the Israeli embassy in Amman attempting to storm it, prompting Jordanian security forces to intervene and disperse the crowds using tear gas.

The protesters chanted slogans hailing the Palestinian Resistance and its leaders while condemning the ongoing Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson for al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has previously called on the people of Jordan to escalate all forms of popular and mass Resistance.
"You, our people in Jordan, are the nightmare of the occupation that fears your movement and strives tirelessly to neutralize and isolate you from your cause," Abu Obeida said in late November 2023.
On Sunday, Jordanian security forces suppressed a demonstration in solidarity with Gaza on its way to the Israeli embassy in Amman.
In a related context, Iraqis also took to the streets of the capital, Baghdad, in a demonstration in solidarity with Gaza and its people, condemning the Israeli massacres against the Palestinian people.
