Meeting of Syrian "National Army" group, Turkish officials, concluded
The participants agreed on the importance of withdrawing militants of Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) from the regions they occupied less than a month ago during the Olive Branch operation.
A meeting took place in Southern Turkey between representatives of armed factions linked with the so-called "National Army" (SNA) and representatives of Turkish intelligence officials, in addition to a delegation from the Syrian Opposition Coalition.
The participants agreed on the importance of withdrawing Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) militants from the regions they occupied less than a month ago during the Olive Branch operation.
They emphasized the need for the heads of the Third Corps militant armed group to form an advisory council to cooperate with the so-called Syrian Interim Government in the area, its Ministry of Defense, and Turkey.
The participants also demanded that the armed factions lift their hands off the region's prisons, service institutions, and local administrations”.
The emphasis on not permitting any faction or armed group to communicate with any external party without first coordinating with the advisory board was also one of the meeting's most notable outcomes.
In addition, an agreement was made to dissolve factions and merge them into the components of the Turkish-backed Third Corps of the SNA armed group, as well as to eliminate the headquarters of all factions from the cities.
The Turkish-backed Third Corps of the Syrian National Army (SNA) armed groups have recently announced the collapse of the ceasefire agreement signed with Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS).

The strategic village of Kafr Janneh was subjected to heavy bombardment by HTS militants seeking to advance and take control of the area. The latter announced its control over the villages of Mash'ala and Duha near Kafr Janneh in the northeastern countryside of Afrin.
The Third Corps announced the killing of its leader Abu Wakil Al-Homsi in the village of Al-Khalidiya, south of Afrin, as a result of clashes with the HTS.
