Morocco to Protest in Support of Palestine, Rejection of Gantz's Visit
The National Front for Support of Palestine calls for nationwide protests on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
27 Moroccan cities will take to the streets Monday in protest of Rabat's normalization with the Israeli occupation and response to the call of the Moroccan Front for Support of Palestine.
"The protests will take place on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, which takes place annually on November 29," the front said in a statement.
The statement underscored that the protests come in support of the Palestinian people's struggles to liberate their land from Zionism and establish their democratic state on Palestinian soil with al-Quds as the capital.
The National Action Group for Palestine stood in solidarity with Palestine in front of the parliament in Rabat. The protest, "With Resistance Against Normalization with the Zionists," came in solidarity with the Palestinian people and against the Zionist plans in the region, the group said.

The memorandum paves the way for military sales and cooperation between "Israel" and Morocco, Gantz explained after the two upgraded their diplomatic relations last year.
The visit was condemned by several Palestinian resistance factions and the PLO.
The agreement "constitutes a departure from the stipulations of the Arab summits, the Arabic consensus, and the Arab Peace Initiative. It harms Arab national security and the interests of the Arab Umma," the PLO said.
The MFSP had called Wednesday for a demonstration against Gantz's visit, and the Moroccan police violently dispersed the protest after the demonstrators held Palestinian flags and pro-Palestine banners. They also held anti-normalization banners and chanted in support of the Palestinian cause.
