Netanyahu claims about hitting Hezbollah sites surprised army: Media
Contrary to Netanyahu's statements, a military affairs commentator claims the Israeli occupation only targeted Hamas infrastructure in Lebanon.
Yossi Yehoshua, the military affairs commentator in the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, revealed that the Israeli occupation military establishment was very surprised when it heard Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claiming that "Israel" attacked Hezbollah's infrastructure in Lebanon.
Yehoshua said that "according to the military establishment, this did not happen. The attacks targeted Hamas infrastructure."
On Monday, Netanyahu promised that his government "will restore calm and security, and improve deterrence."
The Israeli occupation Prime Minister said that "Israel will not allow Hamas to establish infrastructure in Lebanon."
"We are operating on all fronts. In Syria, we're acting against Iranian targets. In Lebanon, we attacked Hezbollah and Iranian infrastructure and operated in other ways that I can't expand on," Netanyahu claimed.
He also alleged that he doesn't want a large-scale war but said that if "Israel" was to go to war, its enemies will be hit with the full force of the security and military establishment.
This comes less than a week after the Israeli occupation's military said 34 rockets were launched from southern Lebanon on occupied Al-Jalil.
The occupation said the Iron Dome intercepted 25 of the projectiles, adding that at least five rockets landed in occupied Palestinian lands.

The Times of "Israel" highlighted that the attack "may mark the largest number of rockets fired from Lebanon" since the July 2006 war.
A few hours later, Al Mayadeen correspondent on early Friday confirmed that three Israeli missiles landed south of the city of Tyre, two of them in agricultural areas and another in the Qlaileh Plain.
The Israeli occupation military spokesperson claimed that the Israeli army attacked Hamas infrastructure and sites in southern Lebanon.
This coincided with an Israeli occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip, which was followed by a response from the Palestinian Resistance.

War, precision missiles: Why 'Israel' avoided striking Hezbollah
On Friday, Axios cited Israeli military officials as saying that the Israeli occupation allegedly limited its aggression in Lebanon and Gaza on Hamas sites to avoid a military escalation with Hezbollah.
According to the news website, the Israeli government, along with its security and intelligence establishments, agreed that the occupation entity does not want to escalate matters with Hezbollah out of fear that the military confrontation might turn into a regional war.
During a meeting held by Netanyahu and Security Minister Yoav Gallant on Thursday - ahead of the security cabinet session - Mossad and the Israeli military presented different assessments as to how Hezbollah would respond to an Israeli aggression on Lebanon, the report mentioned.
Israeli occupation military chief of staff Herzi Halevi said that it would be in "Israel's" best interest to avoid bringing Hezbollah into the equation, stressing that the Israeli airstrikes must focus solely on Hamas, the Israeli military officials sources told Axios.
Halevi's suggestion was favored ultimately to be presented to the security cabinet.
