The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemned on Friday the settlers' storming of the Old City and the Damascus Gate, desecrating them and attacking the Palestinian people, considering that the occupation is "playing with fire and provoking the Palestinians."

In a statement, the Front suggested that the government of the trio- Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir, and Smotrich- is playing with fire in Palestine and beyond Palestine, stressing that they are fully responsible for those fires.

It stressed further that the Palestinian people will stand in the face of the occupation government's aggressive and fascist policy, which would "inevitably erupt the Palestinian volcano," and trigger an uprising in Palestine, with repercussions that would extend beyond Palestine.

The Palestinian people have concluded that the occupation only understands the language of force, and that occupation and settlement projects can only be faced with resistance in all of its forms and methods, according to the front's statement.

Additionally, a video of young men throwing stones at a settler transport bus in the Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, circulated on social media yesterday evening.

This comes amid the widespread circulation of videos showing settlers raising the occupation flag during their storming of the Bab al-Amoud area in occupied Al-Quds, as well as videos showing settlers purposefully provoking young men in the area.
