Netanyahu says Gaza ground invasion imminent, does not state when
In an appeal to his extremist audience, Netanyahu concluded by declaring that he would be fulfilling "Isaiah Prophecy".
For the first time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted on Wednesday that he would "have to give answers" for security failings that were made evident in the fatal Palestinian Resistance strikes on October 7, namely Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
Netanyahu emphasized that the occupation's goal is nothing less than "the elimination of Hamas."
“Citizens of Israel, October 7 [Operation Al-Aqsa Flood] was a dark day in our history. We will find out what happened on the southern border near the Gaza Strip in full detail. This failure will be fully investigated. Everyone will have to give answers, including me. But all this will happen only after the war. As the prime minister, I am responsible for the future of the country, and now my role is to lead the State of Israel and the people to a crushing victory over our enemies," Netanyahu said.
In an appeal to his extremist audience, Netanyahu concluded by declaring that he would be fulfilling "Isaiah Prophecy".
As tens of thousands of Israeli soldiers have gathered near Gaza, Netanyahu said, "We are preparing the ground offensive."
"I cannot say when, how or how many, nor all the elements that we are taking into account, of which most are not known to the public," he stated.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that "Israel" is preparing for a ground invasion of Gaza but declined to provide any details on the timing or other information about the operation.

Earlier today, the Wall Street Journal reported that "Tel Aviv" has agreed to delay its ground invasion of Gaza in time for Washington to make the necessary arrangements to protect its military bases in the region from possible attacks following the invasion of Gaza.
The Pentagon is reportedly rushing to deploy around a dozen air defense systems in the region to shield U.S. troops, stationed in Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, from possible missile and rocket attacks.

According to the Wall Street Journal report, "Israel" will not initiate the ground invasion until after the US has successfully deployed the defense systems in the region, which would be done as soon as this week.
However, "threats to the U.S. troops are of paramount concern", several U.S. military officials told WSJ that American forces will be targeted by various resistance movements once "Israel" initiates the ground invasion of Gaza.
It is important to note that "Israel" has been warned by various groups coordinating together as part of the Axis of Resistance that in the event of a ground invasion into the Gaza Strip, the war will expand to entail multiple fronts, noting that all US bases in the region will also be prone to attacks.
