No gap left in Resistance leadership, not even for a day: MP Fadlallah
Hezbollah sends a message to the enemy that all the attacks, bombings, assassinations, and airstrikes will not break its will, says Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah.
MP Hassan Fadlallah, a member of Hezbollah's Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, said that after this war ends, the day will come when everyone realizes the extent of the lies and deception the enemy has practiced regarding its airstrikes and targets.
In a speech he delivered during the memorial ceremony held by Hezbollah for the martyr on the path to al-Quds, Fadhl Bazzi, the Lebanese MP questions the efficiency of "Israel's" alleged pre-emptive strikes.
"What benefit did the enemy gain from its preemptive actions? Someone who claims to have thwarted an operation should have prevented its execution, but that wasn't the case," Fadlallah affirmed.
He said that at dawn today, the Resistance carried out significant strikes on the enemy’s military installations, adding that the movement wanted to send a message to the enemy that all the attacks, bombings, assassinations, and airstrikes will not break its will.
"Despite all the attacks, bombings, assassinations, and airstrikes, there was the Resistance launching heavy missiles to key enemy bases," Fadlallah said.
The senior Hezbollah official reaffirmed the Resistance's capabilities, stressing that it possesses enough resources, skills, and fighters that enable it to absorb any loss.
"We have a strong, capable Resistance, ready and prepared for any scenario, war, or confrontation," he emphasized.
He went on to say that the response came quickly and successively, first by continuing to support Gaza, and secondly by not leaving any gap in the leadership structure of the Resistance, not even for a single day.
"The brothers who took on the new responsibilities immediately began their work and confronted the enemy right after the night of aggression on the Southern Suburb of Beirut," he maintained.
Fadlallah also said that the Resistance is fighting this battle with precision, wisdom, and courage in order to achieve its goal, which is to put an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
"Everything the enemy has done has not prevented our Resistance from continuing to support Gaza," he said.
The enemy has not been able to bring its settlers back, and every escalation leads to counterproductive results, the top official added.
"We have set a clear goal for this war from the very start: to support the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank; our goal is to put pressure on the enemy from the northern front to put an end to its aggression on Gaza," Fadlallah concluded.
Martyrs toll from Israeli aggression on Beirut suburb rises to 50: MoH
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that the number of martyrs from the Israeli aggression that targeted a residential building in the southern suburb of Beirut on Friday has risen to 50.
The Ministry reported that efforts to remove rubble from the site are ongoing for a third day, and forensic teams have begun their work to identify the martyrs whose remains were recovered.
The aggression resulted in the martyrdom of several Hezbollah members, including leaders Ibrahim Aqil and Ahmad Wehbi.
On Friday, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced, "with utmost pride and honor, the martyrdom of its senior commander Ibrahim Aqil, "Abdul Qader", and a group of his comrades" in the Israeli assassination and aggression targeting Beirut's southern suburb.
In a statement, Hezbollah praised its martyred commander and the "blessed life" he led, "filled with fight, work, wounds, sacrifices, risks, challenges, achievements, and victories." The statement further asserted that Martyr Aqil's greatest wish was to pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque and his greatest passion was Al-Quds, Palestine.
It is noteworthy that the aggression launched by the occupation on the suburb followed a massacre on Tuesday and Wednesday, involving the detonation of pagers and wireless devices, which resulted in the martyrdom of 37 people and injuries to 2,931 others.
In response to the ongoing Israeli attacks on various Lebanese regions that have resulted in the deaths of martyrs, and in solidarity with Gaza, Hezbollah initiated its initial retaliation by targeting the Ramat David base and airport at dawn on Sunday. The operation involved launching dozens of Fadi 1 and Fadi 2 rockets in two operations. Another operation also followed targeting "Israel's" Rafael military-industrial complex.
