No more blank checks: US Sen. demands halting uncapped aid to 'Israel'
Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren called for the end of uncapped military aid to 'Israel' following Biden's series of approvals that gave the occupation the greenlight to kill civilians.
Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren called for the end of uncapped military aid to "Israel" following Biden's series of approvals that gave the occupation the greenlight to kill civilians en masse.
On Thursday, Warren explicitly condemned the Biden administration's policy of unrestricted military aid to "Israel", saying, "The US cannot write a blank check for a right-wing government that has demonstrated an appalling disregard for Palestinian lives," while advocating for the use of the US influence to establish peace between all parties.
Bernie Sanders, alongside Warren and other high-influence Democrats, has also denounced the US government's conduct and accused it of being complicit in the Israeli genocide happening in Gaza.
On Friday, Sanders shared a 3-minute video with scenes from Gaza titled "No More US Funding for Netanyahu's War," saying, "Congress must not provide any more U.S. funding for Netanyahu’s illegal, immoral, and brutal war that is destroying the lives of innocent men, women, and children in Gaza."

On Tuesday, in response to the $10 billion package the government is contemplating sending to "Israel", Sanders urged Congress to reject its basis. "Let me be clear: NO MORE US funding for Netanyahu’s illegal, immoral, brutal, and grossly disproportionate war against the Palestinian people.”
He also urged the public to realize that the genocide in Gaza is being perpetuated by "Israel" and the US war stock, yielding "catastrophic results".
Biden hears you, but...
Assuming full responsibility, for the occupation that is, Biden has persistently neglected his party's advice and insisted on his unwavering support, militarily, financially, and morally.
US officials told CNN that the US has no plans to constrain military aid, adding that they expect its allies to use US-manufactured and funded weapons and artillery within the frames of humanitarian international law, claiming that the IOF are already assisted by military lawyers that help determine whether a strike is launched within the law or not.
Almost a month ago, in a saga of similar occurrences highlighting the enduring commitment of the US to supply weapons to "Israel", the State Department issued an emergency declaration to lawmakers, facilitating the expedited sale of numerous tank munitions.
This process bypassed the usual 20-day review period granted to congressional committees for such sales. According to a source in Congress, the State Department did not offer any assurances to lawmakers regarding the administration's oversight of the utilization of these munitions, prompting dissatisfaction among some Democratic lawmakers with the decision.
