The Israeli occupation has imposed a suffocating siege on the entire northern Gaza Strip, preventing the entry of essential food supplies, Gaza's Civil Defense spokesperson, Mahmoud Basal, told Al Mayadeen.

For seven consecutive days, "Israel" has blocked fuel deliveries, leaving hospitals in critical condition, Basal said.

Only Kamal Adwan Hospital remains operational in the North, as others struggle to function without fuel.

"The residents in northern Gaza are suffering from a severe shortage of all basic needs—there is no water, no food, and no medicine," Basal said.

The spokesperson noted that Israeli drones are bombing anything that moves in Jabalia camp, putting civilians at even greater risk.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Gaza reported earlier that six of its ambulances are now out of service in northern Gaza due to fuel shortages and the continued Israeli blockade, further crippling emergency services in the area.

The blockade and relentless attacks are intensifying the already catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Seventh day of siege

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported earlier today that the Israeli regime continues its artillery shelling across most areas of the Jabalia camp, located in the northern part of the Strip, while the camp endures a severe siege that has now continued for seven days.

He stated that the occupation had prohibited the entry of any medicine or food into the camp, characterizing this as an act of genocide and mass punishment against residents for refusing to evacuate. He also noted that the occupation forces were demolishing residential buildings to the west of the camp.

Red Crescent paramedics also transported several wounded individuals to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalia camp following an airstrike by the occupation that targeted a house near al-Ihsan Mosque in Jabalia.

For its part, the administration of Kamal Adwan Hospital confirmed that "there will be no evacuation of the hospital, and we are committed to bringing in fuel and bolstering the health system in the north."

The administration explained that some sick children and wounded individuals were evacuated to hospitals in Gaza City to alleviate the pressure on facilities in the north.
