Occupation threatens punishing striking prisoners, Lions' Den prepared
The occupation's Prison Service threatens to impose heavy penalties on the prisoners who are on hunger strike, and the Lions' Den resistance group vows confrontation.
The occupation prison service has threatened to impose heavy punishment on the prisoners who are on hunger strike. This comes after the Waed Prisoners' Association announced that faction leaders announced a hunger strike in response to "the Zionist threat to punish the leaders who have joined the strike."
The Israeli occupation isolated leaders of the Supreme National Emergency Committee of the National Captive Movement who announced a hunger strike yesterday, and took them to an unknown location, the Waed Prisoners Association added.
In the meantime, the dean of Palestinian prisoners, Muhammad al-Tus "Abou Shadi", who has been detained since 1985, announced on Tuesday that he will go on strike along with more than two thousand Palestinian prisoners, starting from the first day of the month of Ramadan.
One of the prominent leaders in the National Captive movement revealed the will of prisoners who intend to go on strike until freedom or martyrdom.
He stressed that hunger strikes have become the most likely option for the prisoners to "confront the occupation," calling for strengthening support as they enter the strike.
In turn, Palestinian prisoner and Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement leader, Khader Adnan, continues his open hunger strike for the 46th day in rejection of his arbitrary detention in occupation prisons.
The Mohjat al-Quds Foundation said that Adnan suffers from dire health, and he is currently detained in Ramla Hospital.
Adnan's wife told Al Mayadeen Net that the prisoner attended his last interview with his lawyer in a wheelchair, and signs of insect bites appeared on his face.
Lions' den is preparing for confrontation with the occupation
In support of the prisoners, the Lions' Den group announced its full readiness to engage in larger battles with the Israeli occupation.
The statement affirmed that the decision was taken to expand the confrontation in support of the prisoners, stressing the resistance's persistence at all costs to destabilize the occupation.
In this context, the Popular Front stressed the need for mobilization in support of the Captive Movement, while considering the days of Ramadan as days for escalation and all forms of struggle in support of the prisoners and Al-Quds.
