One martyred in Israeli attack on Lebanon's Southern town of al-Tiri
Following the martyrdom of Mohammad Fadi Shaaito in yet another Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon, the death toll from over 2,700 ceasefire violations has exposed both "Israel's" unchecked aggression and Washington's unwillingness to hold its ally accountable.

An Israeli airstrike targeting a motorcycle in the southern Lebanese town of al-Tiri has claimed the life of a martyr, Lebanon's Ministry of Health confirmed. The attack marks yet another blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement signed on November 27, 2024, reflecting "Israel's" ongoing pattern of aggression and disregard for Lebanese sovereignty. According to monitoring organizations, "Israel" has breached the ceasefire over 2,700 times, resulting in nearly 200 deaths and hundreds of injuries across Lebanon.
These repeated violations have not gone unnoticed. Speaking from Beirut's Grand Serail, US Special Envoy Thomas Barak admitted the failure of the current truce, saying: "The ceasefire agreement didn't work." His admission reflects Washington's unwillingness to enforce even the most basic obligations of peace when it comes to Israeli aggression.
On the topic of Hezbollah's armament, Barak stated that if Hezbollah is not disarmed, there would be no direct consequences or threat, but noted that Washington would be "deeply disappointed."
Barak further exposed the limits of US influence over its ally when asked about supposed guarantees. "We have no skin in the game in discussing anything with Israel… We're discussing with the nation state, your government, how we can help," he said—an admission that underscores Washington’s unwillingness to apply pressure on Tel Aviv, even as ceasefire violations mount and civilian casualties rise.
Resilient Resistance
Responding to these developments, Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem made it clear that the Resistance is fully aware of the political maneuvers being carried out by the US and "Israel." "The United States and Israel realized the ceasefire agreement served the interests of Lebanon and its resistance, prompting them to escalate on the ground in an attempt to revise the deal," he said. "All this pressure has not altered the agreement."
As Israeli aggression continues and international powers fail to hold it accountable, Lebanon's Resistance stands resilient—defending its people, preserving national dignity, and refusing to be bullied into concessions that would weaken its right to self-defense.
