The Israeli occupation forces killed on Friday a Palestinian youth from the city of Kafr Qassem in the '48 occupied Palestinian territories after he carried out a suspected shooting and ramming attack, injuring two Israeli occupation police officers.
In a statement, the Israeli police claimed that two of its officers were "slightly injured" and were transferred to a hospital for treatment.
The Israeli police also identified the martyr as Mahmoud Naim Badir, adding that search operations are underway in pursuit of other people suspected of helping him.
Israeli media cited the police as saying that the operation had been planned several days in advance and included shooting and throwing firebombs.
Police claimed they found a firearm, ammunition, and Molotov cocktails inside the building from which Badir exited and a knife inside his car.
It is noteworthy that on Tuesday, Israeli media reported a suspected car-ramming attack at the Shawkat intersection near the city of Bir Al-Sabe’, which resulted in moderate injuries to a policewoman, while the driver fled the scene.
On November 29, Israeli media reported that an Israeli occupation soldier was seriously injured in a ramming operation near Ramallah. The Palestinian youth who carried out the attack was killed after the occupation forces shot him and prevented the ambulance crews from reaching him for treatment.
