Israeli airstrikes and shelling have killed at least 30 Palestinians since dawn today, most of them women and children. Hospitals across the Strip reported mounting casualties amid continued bombardment of residential areas and aid distribution centers.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes struck al-Shati refugee camp and Tal al-Hawa in western Gaza City, killing two people and injuring several others. In Deir al-Balah, six members of one family, a mother and her five children, were martyred when their home was destroyed.
Khan Younis in the south also came under intense fire, with both airstrikes and artillery targeting the city's center and northern districts, while bombardment on aid distribution centers in central Gaza killed six civilians and wounded many more.
Rescue teams in Gaza City pulled three bodies from the rubble near Palestine Stadium, where heavy strikes had reduced buildings to ruins.
Hospitals overwhelmed as starvation deepens
The day's death toll included seven Palestinians who were killed in aid massacres. Hospitals confirmed that five of them were shot dead by occupation forces near a distribution site in the central Strip.
In al-Tuffah, northeast Gaza, occupation forces detonated an armored vehicle packed with explosives, killing two more civilians. Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat reported four martyrs, including a child, and 10 wounded after a strike near Salah al-Din Street.
Meanwhile, al-Shifa Medical Complex announced the death of a child due to malnutrition and lack of treatment, highlighting the starvation policy enforced by the Israeli occupation. Later, an Israeli drone targeted the hospital’s roof in what appeared to be an intimidation attempt against medical staff and patients.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reports that the overall toll of the Israeli aggression has climbed to 66,097 martyrs and 168,536 wounded. Among the victims are 2,576 Palestinians killed while seeking aid, with more than 18,873 others injured in the process. Another 453 people, including 150 children, have died from famine and malnutrition.
