Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that the Israeli occupation continues its unyielding campaign of death and destruction across the Gaza Strip, as more than 10 Palestinians were martyred in the latest wave of airstrikes and artillery fire.
During the past few hours only, more than 100 Palestinians have been killed in intensified Israeli bombardments, with entire neighborhoods flattened and emergency services overwhelmed.
Our correspondent described the attacks as part of "roving massacres" targeting civilians with no regard for life or sanctuary.
In northern Gaza, five civilians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Jabalia al-Nazla, according to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent. The strikes came amid a broader campaign of demolition across Beit Hanoun, Jabalia, and surrounding areas, where entire residential blocks have been turned to rubble, displacing families and severing communities.
In the southern part of the besieged Strip, Israeli warplanes targeted a residential house in the Khan Younis refugee camp, killing five Palestinians and injuring over ten others. The bombing struck without warning, ripping through a densely populated area already teeming with displaced families that were seeking shelter from the relentless bombardment.
Israeli naval vessels also opened fire on fishing boats off the coast of al-Mawasi, northwest of Khan Younis. The bodies of two unidentified martyrs were later recovered from the al-Shakoush area near Rafah, bearing witness to the expanding reach of the occupation’s war machine, from land to sea.
Children and women were killed in strikes on the tent camps
As dawn broke on Friday, Israeli forces bombed makeshift tent camps housing forcibly displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, killing a woman and a child. At least 20 others were injured in the same attack, many with life-threatening wounds. A separate shelling on tents near the al-Ard al-Tayyiba area took the life of another child, compounding the trauma endured by Gaza’s youngest and most vulnerable.
Israeli tanks simultaneously pounded the al-Katiba and western Satar areas, while Israeli invading units razed homes in eastern Khan Younis. In a separate incident, an Israeli drone strike hit the al-Hannawi school, which had been serving as a shelter, killing two Palestinians.
