PA calls on 'Israel' to hand over kidnapped Palestinian infant
The Palestinian Authority calls on the Israeli occupation to hand back a Palestinian infant girl who was kidnapped by an Israeli occupation soldier in Gaza.
The Palestinian Authority's Foreign Ministry condemned the "kidnapping" of a Palestinian infant girl by an Israeli officer in the Gaza Strip, calling on the occupation to release her.
The ministry issued the request on Tuesday, following recent statements by Israeli soldier Shachar Mendelson, an associate of Captain Harel Itach, who revealed to the Israeli Army Radio that the officer had allegedly admitted a Palestinian infant to a hospital in the occupied territories after Israeli airstrikes resulted in the loss of the infant's entire family in Gaza.

“The kidnapping of the infant girl from the Gaza Strip is evidence that the occupation army is committing the most heinous crimes against civilians without oversight or accountability,” the PA Foreign Ministry said in a statement, adding that "the ministry calls on the occupation authorities to immediately hand over the infant to the Palestinian National Authority.”
On the 88th day of the Israeli occupation's war in the Gaza Strip, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that the Israeli aggression claimed the lives of many Palestinians, including women and children, while also wounding hundreds.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) spent the night targeting Palestinian neighborhoods across the Gaza Strip using fighter jets and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) which not only claimed lives and left many injured but also caused further damage to buildings and infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation tanks shelled the north of the Maghazi camp in the middle of the Strip as IOF gunboats also fired heavily at the central governorate in the Gaza Strip.
