Israeli occupation forces will continue their war on Palestinian people and land in the West Bank, particularly in Jenin and its camps and Tulkarm and its camps, killing, displacing, and destroying property, the Palestinian presidency's official spokesperson, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, has warned.
Abu Rudeineh cautioned that the IOF are waging a systematic campaign of demolition of homes and displacement of citizens, killing dozens of citizens and wounding hundreds amid international silence toward ethnic cleansing plans in Gaza.
He urged the US to act to stop "Israel's" continuous aggression against Palestinian people and territory, rather than encouraging it to continue, which he warned has the potential to become explosive, with everyone paying the price.
The presidential spokesperson emphasized that the Palestinian people would not accept any plans for relocation or another homeland, detailing how threats will not benefit any people and will result in widespread damage in Palestine and the region.
He also condemned the IOF issuance of the proposal to build 974 new colonial settlement units in Efrat settlement, describing it as an imposed fait accompli policy and emphasizing that all colonialism is illegal and violates all international legitimacy resolutions confirming the need for its abolition.
Abu Rudeineh also highlighted that the expansion of colonialism directly reinforces the Israeli apartheid system, aligning with efforts to impose unilateral and illegal measures that undermine any chance for peace, in violation of international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
IOF intensify West Bank operation, injuring and abducting locals
Israeli occupation forces are intensifying their raids on the northern parts of the West Bank, shooting and firing tear gas at local Palestinians in the city of Tulkarm and the Nur Shams and Tulkarm refugee camps, as well as the town of Qusra in Nablus.
The IOF tightened their siege on Tulkarm's eastern neighborhood, imprisoning residents in their homes and detaining and interrogating them, while forcing shop owners to close their businesses and destroying the city's infrastructure.
Israeli troops have also detained several passengers at a newly set-up checkpoint on Nablus Street, which connected Tulkarm to the Nur Shams camp.
Eyewitnesses told WAFA that the situation in the Tulkarm camp is becoming extremely dire, with Palestinians facing a shortage of basic supplies like food, water, and medicine, as the Israeli forces chased and opened fire on anyone leaving their home or entering the camp.
The situation is similar in the Nur Shams refugee camp.
