Pakistan, Iran condemn Gaza ethnic cleansing plan, urge OIC to act

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed his country's unwavering support for Palestine, condemning any attempts to seize Palestinian land and calling for an end to "Israel's" occupation.
In a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, Dar stressed the collective responsibility of the international community and Muslim nations to stand against Israeli aggression and protect Palestinian self-determination.
Dar categorically rejected any plans aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinians from their homeland. He also reaffirmed the duty of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to defend Al-Quds and the Palestinian people, backing calls for an emergency OIC meeting to coordinate a unified response against the latest threats.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi praised Pakistan's unwavering commitment to Palestinian resistance, denouncing the ongoing genocide and forced displacement of Palestinians in Gaza. He described the displacement plan as a colonial project designed to "eliminate Palestine" and called for an urgent and coordinated response from Muslim states.
Araghchi also pointed to the overwhelming global condemnation of the US president's proposal on Gaza, stating that it constitutes ethnic cleansing. He noted the critical role of the OIC in confronting these crimes and pushed for immediate action to counter "Israel's" expansionist agenda.

As Muslim nations rally against the forced removal of Palestinians, Egypt has announced an emergency summit set for February 27, aimed at addressing the escalating crisis. Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the UAE have also firmly rejected any attempt to resettle Palestinians outside their rightful homeland, reaffirming that Palestinian sovereignty is non-negotiable.
With mounting pressure on the OIC to take decisive action, both Pakistan and Iran continue to push for a strong and unified response, urging Muslim nations to stand against a systematic effort to erase Palestine from its land.
