The Hamas movement confirmed that the Resistance forced occupation leaders to dismantle their settlements and flee in terror.

In a statement, on the occasion of the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from the Gaza Strip, Hamas considered that the unjust siege imposed on Gaza for more than 15 years is a crime against humanity and a mark of disgrace on all those who maintain silence about it and are reluctant to reject it, condemn it, and end it.

The Resistance movement pointed to the consequences of the Israeli siege on the Strip, including the prevention of the delivery of medicine, treatment, and food, and the resulting innocent victims, difficult health and economic conditions, and worsening crises

The statement underlined that the Israeli expansionist incursion into Gaza has come to a complete end, pointing out that its ongoing settlement and Judaization projects in the occupied West Bank, Al-Quds, and all occupied Palestinian territories are theft crimes that will not change history or reality.

Hamas valued all the roles and efforts made by countries, governments, and organizations to support humanitarian and development projects in the Gaza Strip and mitigate the effects and repercussions of the siege, calling for unifying Arab, Islamic, and international efforts to end the siege and rebuild what the occupation destroyed.

On their part, the Palestinian Resistance Committees affirmed on the occasion that the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip contributed to the strengthening of the Palestinian Resistance and proved that the only language that the Israeli occupation knows is that of blood, force, iron, fire, and confrontation.

According to the media office of the Committees, there is a clear growth of the Palestinian Resistance in the West Bank and Al-Quds and a desire by Palestinian youth to sacrifice and resist in order to defeat the occupation, despite the escalating Zionist occupation attacks on Palestinians and their sanctities.

The Committees affirmed that the Israeli attempts to bring Palestinians to their knees will be doomed to abject failure, stressing that Israeli attempts to impose new equations on the Palestinian people have ended forever.

On his part, Mohammad Al-Ghoul, a member of the Central Committee of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), considered that the recent escalation of armed operations is a natural response to the practices and crimes of the Zionist occupation against Palestinians.

Al-Ghoul stressed that the Palestinian Authority should confront the Israeli settlers' incursions and end its security coordination with the occupation, adding that the only bet is on the Resistance's escalation against the Israeli occupation.

Monday marks the 17th anniversary of the completion of the Israeli occupation withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. In mid-August 2005, the Israeli occupation evacuated 21 illegal settlements that occupied about 35% of the Strip's area since 1967.
