The Palestinian Resistance Committees' Media Office condemned the Bahraini regime's reception of the Israeli occupation Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, considering it a new decline for all national and moral values and a failed attempt to falsify the awareness and subjugation of the peoples of the nation.

In a statement, the Committees deemed the reception of Bennett in Bahrain as a new stab in the back of the Palestinian people, a conspiracy against their struggle, a betrayal of their resistance, as well as a failed attempt to legitimize "Israel" in the region.

Normalization only serves the occupation

The reception of Bennett encourages the Israeli occupation to continue its aggression against Palestinians and pursue the policy of settlement and Judaization in the occupied West Bank, Al-Quds and Al-Naqab, the statement expressed.

It also pointed out that normalization only serves the Israeli occupation's security interests at the expense of the national security of the Arab nation and the rights of the Palestinian people.

The Resistance Committees concluded its statement by saluting the genuine people of Bahrain who reject normalization, submission, subordination, and alliance with "Israel".

Hamas: Such visit will not legitimize the occupation

For its part, the Hamas movement expressed its "deep regret" for Bahrain receiving the Israeli occupation's Prime Minister, considering that Bennett and his government are responsible for the policies of collective punishment and the crimes of forced displacement, settlement, and racism, committed against Palestinians people in occupied Al-Quds and Sheikh Jarrah Neighborhood, Nablus, Jenin, and besieged Gaza.

The Movement underlined that such visits to Arab and Islamic capitals will not provide Bennett with alleged "legitimacy" and will not cover up his crimes, terrorism, and racism.

PIJ: Normalization encourages aggression against Palestine

Earlier, the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine strongly condemned Bahrain's reception of the Israeli occupation Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, pointing out that normalization and receiving Israeli officials only encourage aggression against Palestinian land and people.

In addition, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Bahraini Al-Wefaq Society, Sheikh Hussein Al-Daihi, affirmed the rejection of Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's meeting with King Hamad bin Isa of Bahrain.

On Twitter, Bennett's office said the Israeli occupation Prime Minister met with the heads of the Jewish community in Bahrain.

Bennett arrived in Bahrain on Monday evening, in the first visit by an Israeli occupation prime minister to Manama, since Bahrain, the UAE, and "Israel" normalized ties in September 2020, under US mediation.

Earlier this month, the Israeli occupation's Security Minister Benny Gantz visited Bahrain, in a visit that witnessed signing a security agreement between the two.
