Palestinian Hamas movement denounces the Israeli aggression on Damascus which resulted in the killing of 4 Syrian soldiers and the injury of others.
The Palestinian movement Hamas condemned Wednesday the Israeli aggression that struck the surrounding of the Syrian capital, Damascus.
In a press statement, Hamas said that this aggression "reaffirms once again the danger and threat this usurping entity poses to the security and interests of our Arab and Islamic nation."
Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem denounced "the terrorist attack carried out by the Zionist enemy against the Syrian lands and the rise of martyrs due to the bombing of the occupation," stressing that "this Zionism will only be stopped by a comprehensive resistance where energies and powers are united to confront the Zionist project."
SANA news agency reported that four Syrian soldiers were killed and three others were wounded as a result of an Israeli attack on the outskirts of Damascus on Wednesday.

The last Israeli air raid on Syria took place on the 15th. However, no losses in lives were reported as a result of the attack.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry sent two letters to the UN Secretary-General and the Head of the UN Security Council regarding "Israel's" latest attacks against Syria.
The Ministry announced on Wednesday that Damascus reserves the right to retaliate against the attacks using appropriate means guaranteed by international law and the UN charter.
The Foreign Ministry also pointed out the dangerous repercussions of "Israel's" continued violations of the Agreement on Disengagement between "Israel" and Syria, noting that it has now become urgent that the Secretariat-General and Security Council both exercise their authority and condemn these dangerous crimes.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli aggression at dawn today is the tenth during 2022 and the third during the month of April, as it was preceded by a missile attack on Masyaf in the west of Hama in central Syria on April 9, as well as an aggression on the vicinity of Rakhla and Qatana in the southwest of Damascus countryside on April 14.
