During the early hours of Friday, a young Palestinian man was wounded when Israeli occupation soldiers targeted a car with fire near the Beit El checkpoint, located north of Ramallah in the West Bank.

For the past 24 hours, there has been a notable escalation in acts of resistance in the West Bank, with a total of 15 recorded incidents targeting Israeli occupation soldiers and settlers.

The Palestinian Information Center documented these resistance activities, which included a shooting attack, three instances of hurling Molotov cocktails and firecrackers, confrontations with settler attacks, the outbreak of clashes, and incidents of stone-throwing occurring at nine separate locations across the West Bank.

Additionally, confrontations erupted between young Palestinians and the occupation forces in Ramallah, as well as in the areas of Bab al-Amud and Abu Dis in Occupied al-Quds. These confrontations included stone-throwing incidents.

In the city of Al-Bireh, revolutionary youths threw three Molotov cocktails at the occupation forces during violent confrontations that unfolded within the city. These confrontations extended to Tubas, Tulkarm, the Balata camp in Nablus, and the town of Beit Ummar in al-Khalil.

Resistance fighters confronted the occupation forces with heavy gunfire during their incursion into Tubas. Furthermore, young Palestinians hurled stones at settlers in the town of Huwwara, resisting their attacks and damaging their vehicles.

This comes after Palestinian activists from the Gaza Strip launched on Wednesday several incendiary balloons toward the Gaza Envelope illegal Israeli settlements, during demonstrations over the dire living conditions that Gazans are subjected to due to the years-long unlawful siege imposed by the Israeli occupation on the Strip.

Israeli media reported that two fires were recorded in one of the forests of the western Occupied al-Naqab as a result of incendiary balloons launched from Gaza.

Concurrently, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that two citizens were injured by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire east of the Gaza Strip, while others suffered from suffocation as a result of tear gas canisters fired by occupation forces as they attempted to suppress the demonstrations.
