Israeli occupation forces raided several areas in the occupied West Bank, as Israeli authorities took measures to block off roads leading into illegal settlements.

To the north of al-Khalil, in the al-Aroub refugee camp in the southern occupied West Bank, Palestinians threw Molotov cocktails at an Israeli watchtower while a young man was wounded after being shot by occupation forces in the southern refugee camp of al-Fawwar.

In the Palestinian city of Deir Istiya, Israeli occupation forces closed off the roads leading out of the town with sand barricades. Deir Istiya is located to the southwest of the city of Nablus, in close proximity to a number of illegal Israeli settlements, including "Emmanuel", "Revava", and "Yakir".

Israeli troops also closed off the entrances to the nearby Palestinian towns of Hares and Kifl Hares with steel gates.

Firas Diab, the Mayor of Deir Istiya, confirmed that Israeli occupation bulldozers blocked off the entrances to the town, preventing the entry and exit of Palestinians.

To the northwest, in the refugee camp of Nur Shams in Tulkarm, Israeli special forces conducted a raid into the Jabal al-Nasser area. Another group of occupation forces raided the town of Madma to the south of Nablus, while Palestinian Resistance fighters confronted occupation forces to the east of the city.

On Thursday, Palestinian Resistance fighters discovered a special Israeli force that had infiltrated the Jenin refugee camp. Resistance fighters confronted the force, forcing the occupation's military to call in reinforcements and expand its raid into camp.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the West Bank reported on the events, confirming that locally made explosive devices were detonated in the Jourat al-Dahab area in the Jenin refugee camp.

Palestinians in the West Bank have been resisting near-daily Israeli raids and breaches since October 7, 2023, while conducting operations on Israeli targets. So far, more than 7,780 Palestinians have been detained from the occupied territory, as occupation forces seek to suppress their voices and action in support of their compatriots in the Gaza Strip.
