Palestinian Resistance confronts Israeli forces in Nablus, al-Khalil
Israeli occupation forces work to block off a number of Palestinian towns while raiding others on Friday dawn.
Israeli occupation forces raided several areas in the occupied West Bank, as Israeli authorities took measures to block off roads leading into illegal settlements.
To the north of al-Khalil, in the al-Aroub refugee camp in the southern occupied West Bank, Palestinians threw Molotov cocktails at an Israeli watchtower while a young man was wounded after being shot by occupation forces in the southern refugee camp of al-Fawwar.
In the Palestinian city of Deir Istiya, Israeli occupation forces closed off the roads leading out of the town with sand barricades. Deir Istiya is located to the southwest of the city of Nablus, in close proximity to a number of illegal Israeli settlements, including "Emmanuel", "Revava", and "Yakir".
Israeli troops also closed off the entrances to the nearby Palestinian towns of Hares and Kifl Hares with steel gates.
Firas Diab, the Mayor of Deir Istiya, confirmed that Israeli occupation bulldozers blocked off the entrances to the town, preventing the entry and exit of Palestinians.

So far, more than 7,780 Palestinians have been detained from the occupied territory, as occupation forces seek to suppress their voices and action in support of their compatriots in the Gaza Strip.
