The Palestinian Resistance in the West Bank continues to confront the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in various areas in Tulkarm and Jenin.

Saraya al-Quds – Tulkarm Brigade announced it had been engaged in fierce battles with the IOF for hours on several fronts in the camp, announcing confirmed casualties among the IOF.

In turn, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades confirmed that it confronted the occupation's storming of Tulkarm camp, where it is engaged in fierce clashes in the Shuhada neighborhood, the Muqata'a axis and the al- al-Murabba'a axis.

For its part, Palestinian sources stressed continued fierce clashes between the Resistance and the IOF  in Tulkarm camp, north of the West Bank.

In Jenin, the al-Quds Brigades announced that it had engaged in fierce battles with the IOF in the industrial axis, where it targeted them with hails of bullets and explosive devices, and achieved confirmed casualties.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the West Bank reported that IOF carried out destruction operations in the Tulkarm and Jenin camps.

Earlier Today, two Palestinians were martyred, including Ihab Abu Atiwi, the commander of the al-Qassam Brigades in the Tulkarm Refugee Camp, following an Israeli airstrike that targeted their vehicle in the Nur Shams Refugee Camp. Three others were injured in the attack.

Israeli forces deployed reinforcements after special forces infiltrated the Tulkarm camp, intensifying their operations in the area.

'Desperate attempt to eliminate the Resistance'

In a statement, Hamas condemned the assassination as a "desperate attempt to eliminate the resistance." The group emphasized that this targeted killing reflects the continued crimes and massacres of the Israeli occupation, aiming to suppress the Resistance that continues to strike fear into the hearts of the occupation forces with its operations.

Hamas mourned the loss of Ihab Abu Atiwi and fellow fighter Ramez Dumeiri, asserting that their blood would not be in vain. The movement vowed that their sacrifices would fuel the escalation of resistance efforts and ongoing heroic operations.

The statement also highlighted the timing of the assassination, coinciding with the intensification of Israeli operations across the West Bank, particularly in Jenin and its surrounding refugee camps. Hamas asserted that these violent attacks would not bring the Israeli occupation security or stability, but rather ignite further unrest among Israeli soldiers and settlers.

Hamas called on the people of the West Bank to escalate confrontations and resistance against the occupation and its settlers as part of the ongoing Operation Al Aqsa Flood. The movement urged the Palestinian masses to continue disrupting and destabilizing the security of the Israeli occupation.

Earlier in the day, Israeli forces stormed the town of Tarqumya, west of al-Khalil, and the al-Aroub refugee camp in northern al-Khalil. Palestinian resistance fighters in the West Bank have continued to fiercely confront Israeli forces, who have surrounded homes, assaulted civilians, and invaded several towns across the region.

IOF kill two-year-old child

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported the martyrdom of Abdul Jawad al-Ghoul, a 26-year-old who succumbed to injuries inflicted by occupation forces’ gunfire during last Tuesday’s incursion. Additionally, two-year-old Leila al-Khatib was martyred after being shot in the head by an Israeli sniper at Al-Shuhada Triangle, south of Jenin.

While Resistance fighters continued to confront the Israeli forces, the IOF admitted that three of its soldiers were injured, one critically, during the confrontations.

In a statement, the commander of the al-Quds Brigades in the West Bank said that the Resistance would eventually disclose details proving that "Israel’s" failure to secure a symbolic victory in Gaza would be mirrored in Jenin. He added that Resistance fighters have consistently ambushed Israeli forces and their military vehicles, showcasing their unyielding defiance.

The United Nations has recently expressed serious concerns about the Israeli military's actions during its recent raid in the West Bank, describing the use of force as employing methods "developed for war fighting."

"We are deeply concerned by the use of unlawful lethal force in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank," UN human rights office spokesman Thameen al-Kheetan told a media briefing in Geneva.
