Palestinian Resistance factions and their military wings expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, the head of Hezbollah's Executive Council, who was martyred in an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon.

Safieddine, a prominent figure in the Lebanese Islamic Resistance, was killed alongside several of his comrades in a devastating airstrike that targeted the Southern Suburb of Beirut days ago.

Hezbollah announced on Wednesday the martyrdom of Sayyed Safieddine in an Israeli airstrike that took place days ago. Safieddine, a key figure in the Lebanese Resistance, was killed alongside several of his fellow fighters, in what the Resistance condemned as a "criminal and aggressive Zionist airstrike."

In a heartfelt statement, Hezbollah paid tribute to Sayyed Safieddine, describing him as a "great leader and esteemed martyr on the path to al-Quds." The statement emphasized that he was martyred content and patient, accepting his fate as a martyr.

Al-Qassam Brigades

The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, eulogized Sayyed Hashem Safieddine "with pride and confidence in the coming victory of God."

"Amid Operation al-Aqsa Flood, we mourn the great Resistance leader in Lebanon, Hashem Safieddine, who was martyred on the path to al-Quds along with his fellow fighters in a criminal Zionist airstrike," the statement read.

The Al-Qassam Brigades praised Safieddine for his unwavering support of the Palestinian people and their Resistance, highlighting his vital role in building and strengthening the Resistance front against the Zionist occupation over the years.

Palestinian Mujahideen Movement

The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement also mourned the martyrdom of the "great jihadi leader" Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, emphasizing his steadfast commitment to the cause of al-Quds. The movement stated that Sayyed Safieddine was martyred along with a group of his fellow fighters in a "cowardly Zionist assassination" that targeted Beirut's southern suburbs.

In their statement, the Mujahideen Movement extended heartfelt condolences to Hezbollah, the Lebanese people, and supporters of the resistance worldwide. They commended Safieddine's long history of resistance against the Zionist enemy and his unwavering support for the Palestinian people.

The movement further noted that the martyrdom of such influential figures "in the battle to defend al-Quds and support the steadfast Palestinian people reinforces the unity of the Islamic World and reaffirms the righteousness of the path toward shared destiny."

They also highlighted the significant sacrifices made by Hezbollah's fighters and leadership, standing firmly by the Palestinian cause despite facing immense challenges, aggression, and betrayals.

The statement concluded by stressing that the Israeli occupation's continued brutal crimes reveal its failure and inability to overcome the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon, "which has dealt heavy blows to the Zionist regime deep within its borders, strikes that are expected to intensify."

The blood of leaders and martyrs, they affirmed, "will pave the way to a decisive victory and accelerate the collapse of the Zionist entity."

Resistance Committees and Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades

The Palestinian Resistance Committees in Palestine and their military wing, the al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, issued a statement expressing pride, resilience, and determination to continue the path of Resistance. They mourned the loss of "the great Islamic jihadi leader," Sayyed Hashem Safieddine.

The statement emphasized that Sayyed Safieddine's life was marked by immense sacrifices, jihad, and dedication to the cause of liberating al-Quds and Palestine. They praised his unwavering belief that victory was a divine right and that Resistance was a duty, with the land destined to be inherited by the righteous and the faithful fighters of God.

They further asserted that a resistance movement like Hezbollah, whose leaders fall as martyrs, only grows stronger and more determined to pursue the goals for which its leaders and fighters sacrificed their lives.

The martyrdom of Safieddine, they said, epitomizes the highest form of sacrifice, providing a guiding light for future generations to continue the path of resistance walked by the martyred leaders of the Axis of Resistance, including Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and many others.

The Resistance Committees reaffirmed that the Zionist enemy understands only the language of resistance and confrontation, and any attempts at compromise have only emboldened the Israeli occupation's aggression and terrorism. The statement concluded with heartfelt condolences to Hezbollah and the Islamic resistance, expressing full confidence that the resistance would continue Sayyed Safieddine's legacy on the path toward al-Quds and Palestine.

Fatah al-Intifada

In a similar vein, Fatah al-Intifada released a statement mourning the martyrdom of Sayyed Safieddine, declaring its unwavering unity with their brothers in the bloodshed and struggle against the Israeli occupation.

Fatah al-Intifada condemned the Israeli crimes and massacres, reiterating its full support for Hezbollah and the Lebanese Resistance amidst ongoing Zionist aggression.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) expressed its condolences to the resilient people of Lebanon and Hezbollah on the martyrdom of Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, describing his martyrdom alongside his comrades as a significant loss.

The DFLP issued a statement in which it highlighted that the Israeli occupation's targeted assassination of Hezbollah leaders is a public acknowledgment of the critical role these leaders play in guiding the steadfast Lebanese people and the valiant Resistance in confronting the destructive plans of the Israeli-American-NATO alliance. These projects, the statement said, aim to impose dominance over the region, strip its people of their freedom, and undermine their sovereignty.

The DFLP emphasized that Sayyed Hashem Safieddine's martyrdom places him alongside his brother and leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the martyred Secretary-General of Hezbollah, further enriching the legacy of great martyrs who light the way for future generations. His life, dedicated to serving his people, nation, and Hezbollah, was exemplified by his prominent leadership role within the party.

The statement also underscored that the loss of Safieddine, like the loss of Nasrallah, has not weakened Hezbollah or the Lebanese Resistance. Instead, it has fueled the spirit of struggle across Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Yemen, and Iraq, strengthening the resistance against Israeli occupation and aggression.

The DFLP expressed its deep appreciation for Hezbollah's steadfast support of the Palestinian people, despite the heavy price Lebanon and its resistance bear in the ongoing confrontation against the Zionist project.
