Palestinian Resistance hunts down IOF in Beit Hanoun
Hamas announces that the Acting Speaker of the Legislative Council and politburo member was martyred in an Israeli airstrike.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that intense confrontations ensued between Palestinian Resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces in Beit Hanoun, which has become a war zone with Resistance operations carried out from point-blank range.
Our correspondent confirmed that the Resistance fighters were capable of hunting down several IOF soldiers in Beit Hanoun, noting that the occupation forces were surprised to have underestimated the Resistance's firepower, especially along the north-western axis.
Our correspondent also reported that the Resistance fighters aren't only engaging the occupation forces from inside the cities but are also fighting from behind enemy lines along the borders of Gaza and even from within IOF formations.
In a related context, and as part of the ongoing confrontations, Israeli media reported that an Israeli army drone, Rochiv Shamayim, crashed in the "Sderot" settlement, blaming it on a "technical malfunction".
Yedioth Ahronoth reported the crash in "Sderot", adding that “there are no injuries and the accident is under investigation.”
Gaza Speaker of Legislative Council martyred by Israeli aggression
Meanwhile, in another context, Hamas announced that the acting speaker of the legislative parliament in Gaza Dr. Ahmad Bahr was martyred as a result of the Israeli occupation's indiscriminate bombing.
Bahr was martyred yesterday, Friday, succumbing to injuries he had sustained following an Israeli airstrike during the aggression launched by the occupation forces on the Gaza Strip.
On October 23, his son Muhammad, his wife, and his other children were martyred when an Israeli aircraft bombed their house.
Ahmad Bahr was born in the Gaza Strip in 1949. He was a member of the political bureau of Hamas and assumed the position of Acting Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council after receiving about 74,000 votes in the legislative elections.
After the occupation arrested the Speaker of the Council, Aziz al-Dweik, in the occupied West Bank, Dr. Bahr assumed the Acting Speaker position.
Similarly, last month, a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Jamila al-Shanti, was martyred as a result of an Israeli bombing in the Gaza Strip.

The Resistance fighters in Gaza are still defending the Strip and confronting the invading Israeli forces in Gaza City on numerous fronts as they continue to invade from the west of Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun in the north, al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu Obeida said on Friday.
Abu Obeida revealed that 62 Israeli military vehicles had been destroyed in four days, including the flagship Israeli Merkava tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and bulldozers, using al-Yassin 105 tandem anti-tank RPGs and IEDs.
Al-Qassam Brigades used improvised explosive devices, small arms, and sniper rifles to target gatherings of Israeli soldiers or infantry forces shielding themselves in residential buildings.
Al-Qassam killed at least nine Israeli soldiers who were outside their IFVs in two separate operations that took place three days ago, the spokesperson revealed.
