BREAKING
Sheikh Qassem: Our supporters make up more than half of Lebanon's population, and all of these people are united under the banner of protecting Lebanon, its Resistance, its people, and its integrity.
Sheikh Qassem: There will be no phased handing in of our arms. [The Israelis] must first enact the agreement before we start talking about a defensive strategy.
Sheikh Qassem: Be brave in the face of foreign pressures, and we will be by your side in this stance.
Sheikh Qassem: Stripping us of our arms is like stripping us of our very soul, and this will prompt us to show them our might.
Sheikh Qassem: We will not abandon our arms, for they gave us dignity; we will not abandon our arms, for they protect us against our enemy.
Sheikh Qassem: The US efforts we are seeing are aimed at sabotaging Lebanon and constitute a call for sedition.
Sheikh Qassem: If you truly want to establish sovereignty and work for Lebanon’s interests, then stop the aggression.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States, which is meddling in Lebanon, is not trustworthy but rather poses a danger to it.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States is preventing the weapons that protect the homeland.
Sheikh Qassem: The government’s latest decision [on the disarmament of the Resistance] is non-charter-based, and if the government continues down this path, it is not faithful to Lebanon’s sovereignty.

The al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing, announced Tuesday that they had launched rockets toward "Tel Aviv" and Beer el-Sabe in response to the Israeli shelling of Palestinian civilians. They also said that Ashdod was hit too.

Similarly, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement (PIJ), said they had launched a barrage of rockets at the occupied city of Askalan.

Another barrage was launched at the "Kissufim" and the Third Eye military sites within the Gaza envelope, as well as military gatherings in Kfar Azza.

The resistance fired a barrage of rockets from the Gaza Strip, targeting "Tel Aviv", Ben Gurion Airport, and the Beer al-Sabe area in al-Naqab.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that the recent rocket barrage from Gaza hit at least two houses in the "Alfei Menashe" settlement near Qalqilya in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Israeli occupation army confirmed that an intensive rocket barrage targeted Greater "Tel Aviv" and the towns extending to the north, east, and south.

Israeli media revealed that a barrage of rockets was launched from Gaza, with air raid sirens being sounded in southern and central occupied Palestine.

Israeli media also reported that at least two settlers were injured in "Holon", and a third settler was injured in Beer Yaakoub during the recent round of bombing.

Earlier today, al-Qassam Brigades announced that they targeted the Israeli "Mivtahim" kibbutz with rocket barrages, going on to shell enemy positions and gatherings with heavy-caliber mortar shells.

Al-Quds Brigades reported that they shelled the military gatherings of the Israeli occupation forces at the "Sufa" kibbutz with mortar shells.

The Palestinian resistance continues to launch rockets at a steady rate 18 days since the start of Operation al-Aqsa Flood and the Israeli aggression that followed on the Gaza Strip, indicating that the structure of the resistance remains unchanged and its spirit remains unbroken.

Ground invasion a nightmare

If the Israeli occupation forces decide to invade Gaza right now, their capabilities would greatly deteriorate as Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad prepared themselves very well militarily, Israeli Channel 7 quoted IOF Reserve Major General Yitzhak Brick as saying.

"Long before the attack on the Gaza envelope, Hamas and the Islamic Jihad prepared IEDs and mines, among other traps, and anti-armor equipment," Brick said on Tuesday.

Hamas' dream scenario is a ground invasion of Gaza, Chatham House research center said, adding that the Palestinian Resistance has long prepared for a ground invasion that could last for years.

The Israeli forces must "go hard against Hamas" to "possibly restore deterrence, which has taken a huge hit," the think tank added.

The institute also said the Israeli occupation must be cautious in light of the heavy, indiscriminate bombing of Gaza, which could kill Israeli captives.

It also reminded that the high death toll of Palestinian civilians could also weaken the support of key Israeli allies while also stocking anti-Israeli sentiment in the region.

Former US President Barack Obama said that the actions taken by "Israel" against Hamas, such as cutting off food and water supplies to Gaza, could lead to the "hardening of Palestinian positions for generations" and "weakening international support for Israel."
