The Palestinian resistance warned the Israeli occupation forces against holding the "flags march" and storming Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli government, describing these decisions as "playing with fire".

According to Al Mayadeen sources, the Palestinian resistance transmitted messages to the Israeli occupation saying that it will not hesitate to "cross the red lines" in Al-Aqsa Mosque if the march and incursions planned by the occupation forces take place.

The settlers' "flag march" toward Al-Quds is scheduled to start on May 29, under the full protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

Israeli Channel 14 quoted the Israeli occupation forces as saying that the "flags march" in Al-Quds will take place as planned in a few days.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces deliberately set up "flags marches" in order to provoke the Palestinians.

The Resistance's statement comes as 21-year-old Palestinian youth succumbed to his wounds three weeks after suffering from a serious head injury following an Israeli raid on Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.

Walid Al-Sharif has been fighting for his life for the past three weeks; he fell into a coma on April 24 and was in a critical condition since.

Al-Sharif's head or neck was reportedly targeted by a sponge-tipped Israeli bullet, according to his family and witnesses.

At the time of his injury, Israeli occupation forces raided the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, and Al-Sharif was one of 57 Palestinians injured during the brutal attacks on worshippers.

During Ramadan, thousands of Palestinians challenged Israeli restrictive and repressive measures, making their way to Al-Aqsa Mosque to pray. Yet, the Israeli occupation forces turn the third holiest place for Muslims into a battlefield.

The Israeli occupation forces fired heavy rubber-coated and live bullets at worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and threw tear gas canisters and stun grenades at them.
