Palestinian revolution to only end with upheaval of 'Israel': JOR
The Joint Operations Room of the Palestinian Resistance factions underlines that the Israeli occupation would be uprooted at the hands of the Palestinian people.
Resistance Day, which falls on September 12, will remain a pivotal moment in the history of the Palestinian people and a beacon of hope on the path to ending the Zionist project and its withdrawal from all of Palestine, the Palestinian Joint Operations Room said on Wednesday, the day commemorating the liberation of the Gaza Strip from the Israeli occupation.
On this historic day, the factions underlined that the flame of Resistance continues to burn bright in all areas of confrontation with the enemy, with a special focus on al-Quds and the West Bank. The resistance's goal remains unchanged - the complete expulsion of the occupier from Palestinian land, the JOR underlined.
"The heroic actions witnessed through numerous operations, which ultimately led to the occupier's withdrawal from Gaza, serve as a driving force for the steadfastness of the resistance. This sends a clear and living message that the enemy's threats will only result in regret, pain, and losses for the occupier," the JOR stressed.
Addressing the controversial Oslo Accords, the Palestinian Resistance condemned the agreements as serving only the interests of the Israeli occupation.
Moreover, they called upon the Palestinian Liberation Organization to "adopt a national stance by abrogating all agreements and embracing the path of confrontation with the enemy."
"The agreements of compliance were stillborn, and they were left in the dust in favor of the project of confrontation and resistance," the statement continued.
Mighty Pillar 4
At the conclusion of the statement, the Palestinian Resistance factions stressed that Al-Rukn al-Shadid (Mighty Pillar) 4 military drills were a historic achievement in the course of Resistance on the path of struggle.
It was announced Tuesday that the JOR initiated the Mighty Pillar 4 drills, kicking off with a rocket launch toward the sea.
A military official from the Joint Room stated that the exercise serves as a continuation of the annual Al-Rukn al-Shadid conducted by the Resistance factions, encompassing both land and sea combat scenarios.
Speaking to the WAFA agency, the military official clarified that the objective of the exercise is to enhance preparedness and readiness of all Resistance factions in the face of Israeli threats.
On this occasion, Hamas emphasized that the comprehensive Resistance, which succeeded in repelling the occupation from Gaza and steadfastly faced its continuous terrorism and aggression for many years, is now capable of thwarting all Israeli attempts at the Judaization of al-Quds and the proliferation of settlements in the West Bank.
The statement further asserted that the escalating aggression of the occupation in al-Quds and the West Bank "will not grant it any fabricated legitimacy on an inch of Palestinian land, and its crimes will not change the historical and on-ground realities."
The Ministry of Interior in Gaza announced that field measures would accompany the drills, involving the internal front and the deployment of security agencies. These measures would include gunfire and explosions, as well as the significant movement of Resistance elements, security, ambulance, and civil defense vehicles.
The Joint Operations Room of the Palestinian Resistance factions confirmed on Sunday that it conducted a reconnaissance and inspection tour of military Resistance sites and surveillance points along the separation barrier between the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948.
The tour was done to ensure that Resistance fighters were prepared and ready to engage enemies, if necessary, in the highly strategic zone of the Gaza Strip.
