The Israeli occupation forces continue their search for the Palestinians who carried out the “Homesh” operation, in which a settler was killed. The forces were also deployed in “Kashkool” in the town of Kafr Rai, south of Jenin.

Flares were fired in the area before the forces withdrew after search and sweep operations in the town.

Dozens of Palestinians were injured on Friday during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces and settler groups that attacked several villages in Nablus in the northern West Bank.

Israeli Channel 13 reflected “Tel Aviv's” fear of the high rate of Palestinian resistance operations that succeed in killing Israelis.

It confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces will pursue their sweep operations in search of the perpetrators of the “Homesh” operation and send military reinforcements to the occupied West Bank, after receiving intelligence information of more similar operations.

The Israeli media reported Thursday that one settler was killed and two others were wounded in an alleged shooting attack at the entrance to the “Homesh” settlement in the West Bank.

The occupation authorities had evacuated the said settlement, which was built on the lands of the towns of Barqa and Silat al-Dhahr in 2005, but settlers still frequent it from time to time.
