Palestinians confront settler and IOF attacks in occupied West Bank
Settler attacks against Palestinians have escalated in the West Bank, targeting homes and agricultural lands, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
On Saturday, Israeli settlers, accompanied by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), launched an attack on the homes of Palestinians in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus. During the attack, a 32-year-old Palestinian was shot. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that the man was treated at the scene before being transferred to the hospital for further care.
The mayor of Beit Furik, Hussein Hajj Mohammad, confirmed that a group of settlers attacked the homes of Palestinians. This act was even conducted under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, he confirmed.
Residents resisted the attack, leading to violent confrontations with heavy gunfire. At the same time, the same area had previously witnessed a similar assault the Saturday before when dozens of settlers set fire to several vehicles and agricultural structures.

Additionally, Palestinians suffered from suffocation after inhaling tear gas when Israeli forces fired stun grenades and toxic gas at them in the western part of Al-Khalil.
This coincided with the installation of military checkpoints by the occupation forces at the entrances to al-Khalil, located in the southern West Bank.
Israeli occupation forces further targeted Palestinians who got trapped in their vehicles at a military checkpoint set up at the western entrance to al-Khalil, resulting in several cases of suffocation.
Additionally, the Israeli occupation established military checkpoints at the northern entrances to al-Khalil, as well as at the entrances to the towns of Sair, Yatta, Dura, and Halhul, and at the entrances to the Aa-Fawwar and al-Arroub refugee camps.
