PIJ's Al-Nakhalah vows victory: We will fight on
PIJ Secretary-General Ziyad al-Nakhalah says the ongoing confrontation is an opportunity for all those fighting against the Zionist axis.
The Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, reiterated during a meeting with secretaries of Palestinian factions in Syria on Sunday the commitment of the Palestinian Resistance to continue fighting until victory.
"We will remain under occupation if we do not fight the enemy," he stressed.
Elsewhere in his remarks, al-Nakhalah emphasized that the ongoing battle in Gaza represents an unprecedented challenge for both the Palestinian people and their Resistance.
"Gaza is a test for us all, and for our people, which is suffering from occupation and forced displacement," he stated.
However, he assured, "Our people are fighting in Gaza as they have never fought before, enemy is also facing a Resistance it has never faced before".
Furthermore, he described the ongoing confrontation as an opportunity for all those fighting against the Zionist axis, and underscored that resisting the enemy remains the only path to liberation from occupation.
"The war on Gaza is an opportunity for all those fighting against the Zionist axis," he affirmed.
He concluded by saying, "The path of Resistance is the best, despite all the sacrifices given by our people."
In the same context, al-Nakhalah said during an interview for Khamenei.ir on April 13 that through Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and the resilient retaliation of the Resistance against the Israeli incursions into the Gaza Strip, "we have made significant progress toward the moment of final victory," while the occupation is retreating.
At the time, al-Nakhalah stressed that the Resistance today stands firm in its bid to impose its conditions, refusing to accept the conditions of the Israeli occupation. He announced that the Resistance has prepared for a long-term confrontation in the event that the occupation does not accept a ceasefire as per the demands of the Resistance, stating, "We will continue to resist with the same level of performance."
On his part, Assistant General Secretary of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command, Talal Naji, affirmed that the Israeli aggression on Rafah will fail just as it failed in every spot in Gaza.
Naji told Al Mayadeen that if Washington wanted to stop the aggression on Rafah, it could have done so immediately, adding that the US pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not serious or convincing.
He also affirmed that the Palestinian Resistance factions are unified, and the fighters on the ground are united, with everyone taking part in the honorable confrontation against the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.
