Prisoners Information Office: Tension rising in Israeli occupation prisons
Despite reaching an agreement with the Israeli Prison Service, tension continues to rise in prisons amid the Israeli forces' arbitrary measures against the prisoners.
The Prisoners Information Office reported on Saturday that there is tension inside the prisons of the Israeli occupation, and is still ongoing, following the repercussions of the blatant abuse of female prisoners.
The Office said the prevailing tension prevented the prisoners from going out to perform Friday prayers yesterday, due to the continued closure of all prisons by the occupation.

It also indicated that the Israeli occupation still keeps the prisoners Mohammad Arman, Mounir Merhi, Ashraf Zughair, Omar Sharif, Youssef Masoud, Mahmoud Radwan, Saed Zaid, and Fadi Abu Al-Sabbah" in isolation, following the alleged stabbing operation in Nafha prison, in Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Office announced two days ago that the Israeli Prison Service had transferred 40 prisoners from the Nafha prison, adding that the occupation continues to impose cruel measures on the prisoners.
A few days ago, the Captive Movement said that Palestinian women prisoners are a red line, noting that, harming them will lead to dire consequences.
The Palestinians carried out a solidarity rally in front of the house of the captive Al-Mabhouh, a week ago. "The prisoner Youssef Al-Mabhouh said that with his knife he made it clear that Palestinian female prisoners are a red line," said Mushir Al-Masri, a Hamas leader, in the rally, adding that "for the sake of the female prisoners, we offer everything we have."
Moreover, the Palestinian Prisoners Center for Studies confirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities and their prison administration escalated the abuse and repressive measures against Palestinian women prisoners in an attempt to deplete their steadfastness and break their will.
The Center had called on all institutions and organizations that advocate women's rights to "urgently intervene to put an end to the worsening suffering of female prisoners in order to obtain justice for them and to stop the crimes the occupation commits against them.”
